ProSAC For What Ails the Three Chapter Writer One of the issues I struggled with most as a writer was actually finishing a manuscript. In spring of 2007, tired of the excuses, I invited prepublished members from my RWA chapter to meet once a week to work on our manuscripts. We called ourselves ProSAC (Pro-Seeking Authors Commit). Recognizing that many other writers confronted the same challenges we did, it just made sense to create an online community where writers could find support, tips, encouragement and tools to move pas the classic "third chapter" crash and burn syndrome.
